Waitlists that fill themselves
When someone drops out of a capped group on Friday night, the first person on that group's waitlist now gets the spot and a notification straight away. Nobody has to watch the list, and nobody turns up on Saturday to find out they were in after all.
- A promoted runner has until 9:00 PM the night before to say they can't make it, then the spot passes down the line.
- Leads see every promotion in the run's activity line, with the time it happened.
- Turn it off per run if you would rather hand out spots yourself.

The sweeper's list works with no signal
Plenty of good routes run through a dead zone: under a bridge, along a river gorge, behind the reservoir. Check-in taps made there used to spin and fail. They are now kept on the phone and sent the moment there is a bar again.
The sheet shows a small "last synced 4 min ago" line while it is holding taps, so a lead and a sweeper never argue about whose count is current. In the first week, 61 clubs checked in at least one runner with no signal at all.

Recaps that send themselves at noon
The Saturday recap used to wait for a lead to press send, and on a busy weekend it often waited until Monday. Now it goes out at noon on its own, unless you send it sooner or switch it off for that run.
- First-timers are named at the top, so the club can say hello before Tuesday.
- Streaks of four weeks or more get a line of their own.
- The recap goes to members by email and to the club's group chat as a link, not a wall of text.

Routes snap to bridges and boardwalks
Drawing a loop across a footbridge or along a boardwalk used to send the line through the water to the nearest street. The route editor now knows about 214,000 more footpaths, bridges and park trails across the country, and snaps to them first.
GPX files keep their elevation on import, so the climb on a route card matches the watch. Out-and-back routes now mark every kilometer both ways, which is what the back of a group actually calls out.

Chapters, for clubs with more than one start line
Some clubs have grown into a downtown run, a Westside run and a Sunday trail group, each with its own leads. On the League plan they can now live under one club as chapters: one bill, one route library, and each chapter's runs, members and recaps kept to itself.
A member who runs with two chapters keeps one account and sees both calendars. Club admins see a combined attendance view across every chapter, which is the number the board asks for each spring.

Reminders keep the club's own clock
Arizona doesn't change its clocks, and for two weeks in March our reminders forgot that. Dawn Patrol RC's 4:45 AM reminder went out at 3:45 AM for 38 members, several of whom wrote to tell us so.
Every run now stores its club's time zone with it, and reminders are scheduled from that, not from the server's. We also added a line to each reminder preview showing exactly when it will arrive, in the club's local time.

Caps on pace groups
A group that swells to thirty stops being a group. Leads can now set a cap on each pace group, and anyone saying yes after it fills joins that group's waitlist instead of quietly making it bigger.
- Caps are per run, so the long run and the Tuesday track session can be set differently.
- Members see how many spots are left before they pick a group.
- Walk-run groups are never capped by default.

RSVP with a name and an email, nothing else
A first-timer who arrives from a group chat link no longer meets a sign-up form. They give a name and an email, pick a pace group and they are on the list. If they come back, Pacer offers to make it an account; most do by their third run.
Across clubs that had the change for a month, 23% more first-time RSVPs made it to the start line.
